Abstract
We present a simple method which enables us to identify the occurence of a forward glory in heavy ion scattering data. The method is successfully applied to the elastic scattering data of 12C (65 MeV), 13C (60 MeV), 15N (85 MeV) and 16O (75 MeV) on 28Si.
