Abstract
The strength distribution as a function of
the excitation energy is investigated in the framework of the
Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation.
The results are compared with the available experimental data for
and with the results of recent shell model calculations.
It is demonstrated that the full single-particle space has
to be used in order to describe the GT strength function correctly.
