Abstract
We calculate the width for the
decay in nuclear
matter in a hadronic model including mesons, nucleons and
isobars. We find a substantial width of the longitudinally polarized
modes,
reaching
MeV for mesons moving suitably fast with respect to the
nuclear medium.
