Cluster structures in light nuclei

Abstract
Clustering in light stable and unstable nuclei is discussed. After a brief review of the clustering in stable nuclei, we make a new prediction of the existence of the alpha cluster condensed states in ¹²C and ¹⁶O. Discussions of clustering in light unstable nuclei are made in the cases of Be and B isotopes up to the neutron dripline.
