Nucleon form factors

A review of theoretical models

Abstract

The general structure of elastic and inelastic nucleon scattering is outlined. The predictions of dispersion relations, chiral perturbation theory, and lattice calculations are reviewed. Special attention is given to the role of the pion cloud at small momentum transfer.
