Analytical methods to deduce single particle configurations from g K factors using branching ratios in rotational bands, especially in low-statistic cases for heavy nuclei, will be presented. Two methods utilising γ-ray branching ratios in rotational bands and also intensities in the K X-ray region of spectra are shown and results from these are given.
