Emission of charged particles from excited compound nuclei ^90,94,98Mo

Abstract

The production and decay processes of compound nuclei are studied in the framework of the dinuclear system model, using proximity potentials. Cross-sections for the emission of complex fragments are computed and compared against the experimental data for the reactions ^78,82,86Kr + ¹²C. A good consistency between the results of this work and the experimental data is obtained.
