The role of superfluidity on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility is studied in nuclear matter and finite nuclei employing Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov modeling based on several types of pairing interactions (surface, mixed and isovector-density dependent). It is observed that, while pairing has only a marginal effect on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility at saturation density, the effects are significantly larger at lower densities.
