We consider the experimental data on integrated over inclusive densities of neutral
-meson production on nucleon and nuclear targets, as well as the initial energy and A-dependences of the produced
-mesons, in the frame of the Quark-Gluon String Model (QGSM). We find that the experimental data on the inclusive density of
-mesons in the midrapidity region present unusually small shadow corrections that become visible only at LHC energies, unlike the case of hadroproduction of pions or kaons, when this effect already appears at RHIC energies.
